Productora de Cine (proyecto)

Ñuñoa, Santiago de Chile, 2014.
600 m2.

The proposal consists of a building for a film & advertising company, located in a traditional neighborhood of Santiago converted to commercial uses. In conceptual terms, the cinematographic refers to the notion of scenery. Therefore, the proposal considers the remodelation of the existing facade, leaving it as an autonomous plane while the main volume is located behind, at a certain distance. Thus, this volume emerges as a technological black box, enigmatic, masked by a "classical" facade. In the counterpoint between classicism and contemporaneity, a timeless (and certainly postmodern) will is affirmed as a design strategy.
